Q. Where are you located?

A. We are located at 439 Lisburn Road, Belfast BT9 7EY.

Q. When are you open?

A. We open Monday to Saturday 10AM – 5PM and Tuesday 10.30AM – 1PM.

Q. What services do you offer?

Q. How does the process work?

A. It’s as simple as send, digitise and receive! Once we get your order our experts work hard to transfer your memories. From quality checks, restoration, and digitisation. Choose to receive a physical copy, digital copy or both! This will then be available for collection from either Happy Ireland HQ, a partner outlet or straight to your door.

Video

Q. I think my tape could be blank, will I be charged?

A. No, you won’t be! At the time of inspection, any blanks will be documented and included in the final report which is a part of your order.

Q. Will I be charged by video length?

A. Nope, we charge each tape individually regardless of content time. Therefore one tape could be 30 mins long and another 8 hours long but you’ll be charged accordingly!

Q. I don’t want my media on a DVD, what else can you do?

A. Along with DVD we offer a choice of USB.

Q. Do you offer video editing services?

A. We do! We can turn your raw footage into professionally edited video as required. Ideal for promotions or productions to find out more click here.

Q. How quickly will I get my transfer order?

A. We ask for 7-10 business days for all transfer services upon receiving your media. Completing and returning most customer orders within seven days from collection. Times may vary depending on not only your location, but also the quantity and quality of your original items, but we will always advise you of the period expected for your order.

Q. Do you offer data recovery services?

A. We do! we recover data on average 98% of the time. If your recovery is successful, we will ship your recovered data on a CD/DVD (default free) or a storage device of your choosing. Recovery fees only apply if recovery of your files is successful. £15.00 service change maybe applied for attempted recovery.

Q. I have a lot I need converted do you offer bulk discounts?

A. Yes we do! We understand people have collected a great many precious memories over their lives. Following this you may be concerned about the cost of transferring thousands of feet of cine, or dozens of VHS tapes. That’s why we offer discounts on bulk orders. We will be happy to give you a quote, letting you know how much you could save. Cine Film

Q. Do I get charged by film length?

A. We charge by film length by foot. We use cine film reel sizes as a metric for estimation but we only charge on actual length.

Q. I have a lot I need converted do you offer bulk discounts?

Film

Q. I think my film could be blank will I be charged?

A. No, you won’t be! During the inspection, any blanks will be documented in the final report which is included in your order.

Q. How long will it take to get my film processed?

A. Due to low volumes of film being developed. It may take between 1 & 3 weeks to get it processed and printed. Speciality films may take longer, we will be sure to notify you if this applies.

Delivery

Q. How do I get my order to you?

A. You can drop it off at Happy Ireland HQ (439 Lisburn Road, Belfast) or alternatively at one of our 300 network partners in either the North or South of Ireland. Click here to enter your postcode to find the closest to your location.

Q. How do I organise delivery and collection with you?

A. It’s simple! Please call us with the number(s) (UK) 02890 200 229 or (ROI) 1800 84 84 88. Our support representative will walk you through your order. For us to process your order faster, please have the following details on hand: Name, contact number, the transfer service you would like to use, the number of media i.e. tapes, film, cassettes, what you would like to receive back, and finally, return address.


Delivery charge for one-way is £11 / €11
Delivery charge for two-way is £22 / €22
Orders above £100 / €100 have their delivery charge waivered.
